- 6 Medium Sized Potatoes
- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup AP Flour
- 4 Cups Whole Milk
- 2 Tsp Granulated Chicken Bullion
- 2 Tbsp. Dijon Mustard
- ¾# Swiss cheese Grated
- ½# Sliced Deli Ham
- Wash potatoes. Place in pot and cover with cold water. Heavily salt water. Cook Potatoes until fork tender. Allow to cool.
For the Sauce:
- Heat milk to a scald. In second pan melt butter. Add flour and cook until flour is toasted & nutty in smell. Add flour & butter to hot milk. Continue to cook for 8-10 minutes over medium heat. When sauce is thickened, add chicken bullion, cheese & mustard.
- Thinly slice potatoes . Arrange in oven prof dish. Top potatoes with ham, spinach & cheese sauce. Continue to layer until all ingredients are used. Cover with foil. Bake in 350◦ oven for 30 minutes or until hot & bubbly. Un cover gratin 7 allow to brown for last 5 minutes.
