Chef Derek St. Romain has built his career around food. Chef Derek started out in some of the best restaurants in New Orleans before Hurricane Katrina blew him up to North Carolina. Today he is the head chef at the Duke Diet and Fitness Center, recently voted the #1 in the world. And he is a regional coordinator for Backyard Bow Pro, an organization that partners hunters and farmers in the fight against hunger. Whether he’s running a professional kitchen or manning the grill at home, cooking is his passion. And he’s excited to get to share that passion with you here at the Ingles Table.
